The consultation period refers to the first 1-2 visits during which I gain an understanding of your symptoms and concerns and propose a treatment plan. This helps us determine whether my approach and services are a good fit for your treatment. I will not prescribe medication until the end of the consultation period, provided we both agree to continue working together.

Prescriptions for controlled substances such as benzodiazepines or stimulants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If prescribed, a controlled substance agreement may be utilized as part of the treatment plan.
Neuropsychological testing may be required prior to prescribing stimulants for ADHD.
